Day 2-Rocket Making

Today was very fun! We went to Jin Xin Primary School. The pupils are very polite. They greeted all visitors in a cheerful manner. I feel honour to be their guest.

We were lead to a theatre to watch a short film about the school. Through the film, I realised that the school is specialised in making and launching rocket, that was very impressive!

After that, our pupils were divided into groups to attend lesson with china pupils. About eight of us attended their P.E lesson. We did Wu Shu as warm-up exercise and played Musical Hula Hoop. Through playing games, we overcome our shyness and enjoyed a lot.

Having fun in P.E. lesson

Next, Wei Shan and I we were introduced to the china buddy, Jessica. She accompanied us to attend a lecture on China Rocket Technology.

The whole lecture was conducted by a professor in mandarin . Such a relief, we understood about 90% of the content! Next, we had a rocking making session. Step by step, Jessica explained the details carefully then taught us how to make a rocket.
